More News about Longshot of Madden NFL 18
Madden NFL 18 was presented at the EA Play event at E3 2017 bringing its first story mode titled Longshot. This is Madden NFL’s first cinematic and playable story mode under the new Frostbite graphics engine. We will star in Devin Wade, a prospect who has vanished from the spotlight, as he struggles through sweat and tears so his name is said by the commissioner on draft day.
Electronic Arts was in charge to begin the conferences of the E3 revealing the mode history of the Madden NFL 18 with a trailer that we publish in this blog. What little we knew in this way is that we will star in the life of Devin Wade, a young athlete who will try to get a spot on some NFL team.
Josh Looman, producer of Longshot, during the days following the conference has shared several details of this mode:
– Longshot is like an American football movie in which the gameplay will make sense with the context of the narrative.
– We will have to make very important decisions that will have a great weight in history and will take us to different paths.
– The story mode will have 3 different endings that will depend on the way we play and our choices.
– The estimated duration of Longshot is 6-8 hours with more than 3 hours of kinematics.
In addition, Andrew Wilson commented during the event that Longshot is Madden like you’ve never seen it before. He defined it as “the most innovative Madden we’ve done in more than a decade.”
EA Access members can test Madden NFL 18 before its release for a limited time as part of the Play First Trial exclusively on Xbox One. Madden NFL 18 Coins will be on line for sale when the game released for all.
