The series 5 update will be released on February 19, at this date, the Series 4 trophies will convert to their Series 5 counterpart. However, you will only get half of the value of the old trophies with the conversion. In practice you need to divide your current series 5 trophies by 2 in order to know the number of series 5 trophies you will get. The update will come with new Series Redux players. Redux players being LT¨D player items that were present in the previous Series and will be available as non-LTDs packs with the Update. The Series Redux players will display the following changes in the game:
The player item artwork will have a different border and stamp, and the LTD icon will be removed
The player item will no longer quicksell for 250,000 coins but quicksell for the appropriate amount of training based on the player items Overall (OVR)
According to the developers, the current Series 4 LTP player items will not change. It is the new non-LTD version of these items that will come in packs with the Series 5 Update. These items will not quicksell for coins because of their non-LTD nature. EA has released the list of player items that will be available in packs with Series 5.
